Department of Music Faculty Recital-Magdalena von Eccher, piano

大发快三彩票piano professor Magdalena von Eccher will present a solo piano recital featuring Robert Schumann's colourful Faschingschwank aus Wien, Op 26 (Viennese Carnival) alongside Bach's marvelous Toccata in C Minor, BWV 911, interwoven with other selections including Schoenberg's Op. 19 and Ravel's Sonatine. Magdalena will be joined by pianist Glen Montgomery for Debussy's charming piano duet, Petite Suite.

Accessible parking is available, and the theatre has an accessible entrance via elevator.

大发快三彩票professor emeritus wins SSHRC Exchange Publication Award

Dr. Edward MacDonald, professor emeritus of history, has been awarded a $7,000 SSHRC Exchange Publication Award for his book The Geography of Home: Poems from a Lost Time.

The SSHRC Exchange Publication Award is given out annually to support the publication of a manuscript written or edited by 大发快三彩票faculty in the social sciences and humanities. The book will be published by Island Studies Press in the fall of 2025.
