The Department of Sociology and Anthropology of the 大发快三彩票 invites applications for an instructor to teach the following courses in the Winter 2026 Semester.

Winter Semester 2026

SOC-1010 -01 Introduction to Sociology (3 Credits)- In person


This course introduces many of the main concepts within the field of sociology such as culture, socialization, norms, social roles, values, deviance, and social structure. In addition, this course utilizes the basic concepts and perspectives in sociology to examine critically and to interpret the kinds of interaction experienced in social institutions such as the economy, the polity, the family, education, and religion. Three hours a week.  This position is subject to final budgetary approval.

Qualifications:

Successful applicants will have a graduate degree or a doctoral degree in Sociology or Anthropology. Preference will be given to the qualified candidates with seniority on the 大发快三彩票Sessional Roster and full-time and term contract Faculty Members of the Academic unit.
