UPEI鈥檚 Experiential Education & English Language Centre is seeking qualified individuals to teach as casual instructors in its short-term EAP customized programs during the month of August. Information about the English language Centre is available at /english-language-centre/
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teaching academic English (speaking, reading, writing, and listening) at the high beginner to intermediate proficiency level
- Formative and summative assessment
- Curriculum development & lesson planning
- Participation in staff meetings
- Facilitation of some special events and/or workshops
- Upholding the policies and regulations of the 大发快三彩票English Language Centre programs
- Other duties as assigned by the Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Education
- Master鈥檚 degree in Education, Teaching English as a Second Language, or a related field
- Certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language
- Teaching experience in ESL/EAP programming (oral communications)
- Demonstrated excellence in oral and written English proficiency
