Every week, ´ó·¢¿ìÈý²ÊƱAthletics and Recreation recognizes two student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The ´ó·¢¿ìÈý²ÊƱPanther Athletes of the Week for February 5–11, 2024, are Lauren Rainford (women’s basketball) and Kamari Scott (men’s basketball).

Canadian Blood Services and the ´ó·¢¿ìÈý²ÊƱStudent Union are encouraging students to attend a stem cell swabbing event on February 7 from 11:00 am–1:00 pm and February 8 from 12:00–2:00 pm at the W.A. Murphy Student Centre.

The ´ó·¢¿ìÈý²ÊƱcampus community and members of the public are invited to attend a presentation on a recent study, Innovative Governance Structures to Support Indigenous Economic Growth, on Thursday, February 8, 2024, from 5:30–6:30 pm in the Kelley Memorial Building, Room 237.

The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) Veterinary Teaching Hospital at the ´ó·¢¿ìÈý²ÊƱ (UPEI) is providing complimentary short-term emotional support to assist clients in navigating difficult situations concerning their pets’ health. 

The ´ó·¢¿ìÈý²ÊƱDepartment of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Human Rights shared a message with students, staff, and faculty to mark Black History Month, which is celebrated annually in February.
