The lab provides remote data acquisition technology to capture stories, experiences and cultures of interest. Researchers access transcription analysis and dissemination technologies. The QRL鈥檚 state-of-the-art Co-Laboratory to meet and share information with researchers around the world. The open house runs from 9-11 am on Friday, September 20. Light refreshments will be available. The lab is located in room 413 of Dalton Hall. The QRL is led by Dr. Kate Tilleczek, Canada Research Chair in Youth Cultures and Transitions, and is created through funding from the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI). When: November 8-12 Where: TBD Cost to participants: $200, which includes four nights accommodation, meals and snacks Is Time to Write for You? Your project must be at a stage where sustained writing time makes sense. Your research and/or data collection and analysis must be completed to the point that you are ready to write. You must also be prepared to commit to the full program: a total of 3陆 days focused on writing. Members of the University campus are saddened to hear of the passing of Professor Keir Adams, one of the founding members of the Department of Chemistry who taught from 1969-1994. Professor Adams is resting at Belvedere Funeral Home where visiting hours will be held Wednesday, September 18, from 3:00 鈥� 5:00 pm and 7:00 鈥� 9:00 pm and the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, September 19 at 10:00 am.
